October 12, '03 - If you are reading this, the domain has been successfully transfered.

October 12, '03 - I'm in the midst of changing servers AGAIN. Net-Trends seems to be good, and a better deal than my current Hostica. So, as you may know, it takes 24-72 hours for the name servers to match the domain to the new host. In the meantime, the website may not be accessible, and I still don't know if it's set up properly on the new server or not until I actually transfer, so here we go......

October 4, '03 - Another day in front of the computer. I'm feeling better now, after having been sick for days. Because I was tired of lying around being unproductive, I had some TheraFlu to try and alleviate the symptoms, which helped somewhat. What I was really craving was Yerba Mate, which I just sold my last bag to Brandy. So I'd been going to Westerly everyday in anticipation of the shipment. No luck yet, so I got a large cup of coffee down the street, muhahaha! My first real cup in some time. Suffice to say, today has been much more productive. As you can see I updated the What's New section from August forward. I also came to a revelation about myself... By forcing myself to focus on a single topic of study, without allowing myself to branch off in different directions, is a violation of my constitution. And that's exactly what I've been doing. I need to allow myself to explore all I want. Is there anything so wrong with that? It's what's necessary to keep my creative spirit alive! However, how will I be able to focus on something? I don't know. I think it's a good time to stop thinking about it so I don't drive myself to the madhouse.

Sept 30, '03 - There was still one more test lingering from Bristol-Myers. Today I finally went there and got my check. Let's hope I can survive on it while I find another job.

Sept 21, '03 - I decided to revive my ancient Palm m105 in hopes of having a pocket ephemeris. Who wants to carry around a bulky ephemeris all the time? What we need is an electronic pocket ephemeris! After exploring the concept, I realized that the only way I could have one would be to actually create a Palm program that would display the ephemeris in a flexible way on the tiny screen. I also managed to get my hands on some free astrology software with the source code, what a find! However, the source code is in C, which happens to be the language of choice for writing programs for the handheld. My new mission: to learn C programming. I went Barnes and Noble today while hanging out with Leah and Dave after an unsuccessful attempt to see the Dalai Lama (all we saw were the flowers being thrown into the audience, of which I caught one which was later thrown in front of a speeding subway for shits and giggles, and audience members having personal items rubbed on the chair where his holy ass had been seated) and bought a book to learn the C language. Now that's a run-on if I ever did see one!

Sept 11, '03 - I went to my first Web Design Meetup and spoke with other web design enthusiasts. It was interesting at the least.

Sept 10, '03 - So I decided to take a look at another school, which had a cute little space in the mind-boggling Empire State Building. They were much nicer and more intelligent than the Hindu women, but still wanted thousands of dollars for their courses. It just seems so rediculous to pay for learning this stuff when I've learned all I know so far on my own. So I decided to forget about taking classes with any of these people, and learn it all on my own! I'll just take the tests and learn the stuff, no biggy...
Later I found myself at Barnes and Noble buying a bazillion books on web programming and such. I'm off to learn!

Sept 9, '03 - OK, so since I came back, I decided to focus on getting certified with computers and web design, to develop and solidify some skills I already have so that I'll be more marketable and be able to get a good job. In the process, I began looking at some schools that would help. So, today I took a trip to Micropower, right around the corner from Sterling, lol. Anyway, those pushy Hindu women were disrespectful enough to drive me to sending an angry letter to the CIWcertified.com people. They can shove that $10,000 course up their you know what.

August 1 - Sept 3, '03 - I took a refreshing 1-month vacation to see my family and friends in New Orleans. Had a blast and got some new pics for the website too.

July 23, '03 - Today was my last astrology class, for now. I also decided to change the shape of my side burns... fucked up the left one as usual.

July 22, '03 - Drink yerba mate and slimfast for sustained energy!

I set up a SHOUTcast radio station called YagaRadio. Search on SHOUTcast to see if it's available. You will simply be listening to what I'm listening to.

I also set up my first little javascript! Simply move your mouse over the little smiley to the right of the main title (reading "kirk's undergound lair") to see it.

July 20, '03 - After days of emersion in computer games, mainly starcraft, I've been experiencing some terrible pain in my middle finger/knuckle. The cause could either be an extremely tiny mouse or an extremely long middle finger, but it's probably a combination of the factors. In any case, I decided to create a larger mouse by layer upon layer building upon the previous one with shredded sock and duct tape, in which ultimately a ball-shaped concoction emerged that I could easily wrap my hand around. However, the main dilema I face now is that while my middle finger lies comfortably wedged into place, I can't easily reach the scroll wheel.

Hello and welcome to my undergound lair...
OK folks, this is what i have so far:

To the right of the title, you'll see a little face. If it's bright and smiling, that means I'm online and you can send me an instant message. If it's gray and sleeping, that means I'm not online.

I have a What's New section to your left. It's meant only for the most recent things in my life.

I also have a pics section, where you can browse a random collection of pictures.

A section with some random charts of people I know. And a natural chart I made is in there too, still trying to figure out something to do with that.

I have a links page with links to other stuff on the web that relates to me.

And now I have guestbook! Go ahead, sign it!
